I have seen before now baptism/marriage/census docs in which a person uses their middle name at times. Could it be that Mary was really Mary Ann? Hard to say until I find more information relating to Mary.

Ronald's father and my grandfather Sidney Thorne were first cousins. Ron first made contact with me through GenesReunited. Ron told me that his father, William, remembered his cousin "Sidney the diver" visiting them, when he was a kid.
